New Delhi: The Congress Lok Sabha MP from Saharanpur has given a big statement before introducing the Waqf Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha. He said that there is no hope left now. There is no greater oppression on Muslims. Now the work of snatching the land of Muslims will be done. Bulldozers will run on their properties.
Imran Masood says that the clause of the Waqf Amendment Bill and 3 (VII) (E) is dangerous. Because Waqf’s property in UP has been forcibly declared government. This will increase the dispute. He said that the clause that the government is telling the solution is the most dangerous.
Cloz-Masud
Imran Masood said that Claus 3 Sub Claus (VII) is dangerous, because this clause says that the property which does not have any dispute and it is not government property will remain of Waqf, but the Uttar Pradesh government has declared about 14,000 hectares of land in the name of Waqf, which was registered with the name which was registered. He said that this means that according to this clause or according to the new law, it will not be recorded as government property, it will not be of Waqf, it has objected to this.
All India Muslim Personal Law Board President’s appeal
On the other hand, All India Muslim Personal Law Board President Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani appealed to all secular parties and MPs to not only strongly oppose it when the bill is introduced in Parliament, but also vote against it to ‘stop the BJP’s communal agenda’. He said in a statement that the bill is not only based on discrimination and injustice, but is also against the provisions of fundamental rights under Articles 14, 25 and 26 of the Constitution. Rahmani alleged that through the bill, the BJP aims to weaken the Waqf laws and create a way to seize and destroy Waqf properties.
